Join us for Far Away Friends' 5th Annual 5K, now in an exciting partnership with the iconic Colfax Marathon in Denver, on May 18th, 2024! This year, we're expanding our horizons and inviting you to be part of Denver's largest running weekend, which features a two-day expo, eight different races including a marathon, half marathon, urban 10 miler, and the marathon relay with four distinct divisions. However, most of our team will focus on the 5K event to continue our tradition of promoting education in Uganda.

Your participation in this year’s 5k will enable us to raise the $15,000 extra funds needed to fuel our daily meals program at Global Leaders primary school, which feeds 500 children every single day.
Just $200 can provide daily meals for one student for a full school year in a country where over 40% of children will not get access to 3 meals a day.
