60% of Uganda’s population is under the age of 18.

It’s a country of over 40 million people, over half of which are under the age of 18. In the next 20 years, Africa will be home to the world’s biggest workforce.

We believe the time to invest in the development of this next generation of young, global leaders is now.

Working in the Heart of Uganda

UgandaVectorNoBack.png

Our work is currently based primarily in Amolatar District, home to around 127,000 residents. This district was one of the “most geographically isolated” regions of Uganda until a ferry was built in 2013, as it is surrounded by both Lake Kyoga and Lake Kwania. Because of it’s rural location, children in this region have been historically deprived of access to quality education, basic healthcare and opportunities to break free from cycles of generational poverty.

We are proud to have a high level of community engagement in our work thanks to the deep relationships we have been able to cultivate with local leaders, families and other stakeholders in Amolatar. As part of our long-term sustainability plan, our school and other projects are wholly owned and operated by local families and district leaders and fueled by the support of our global network of Advocates & donors for a limited period of time. We are proud to work alongside our friends and family in the community of Namasale sub-county and the wider Amolatar District for the benefit of future generations.
